Yes they are actually prone to seizures! Fancy rats have a large amount of inbreeding in their genetic pool. It is not uncommon for them to have a seizure.

Yes fancy rats can get seizures. If the seizures are severe and more frequent then the rats must be treated by an vetenary Doctor. These rats must be injected with antiseizure drug.

Any animal can have a seizure. Seizures in animals appear much like that of humans. Keep a log of seizure activity for your vet upon examination.

my rat just had a 5 minute seizures for the 3rd time, do you think i should get him checked out :(
