Sometimes an enlarged heart is due to heart failure. When a person has heart failure, they are more likely to retain water in their bodies and this water and extra fluid can pool, especially in the extremities (arms and legs) of the body. This can lead to soft tissue problems.

An enlarged heart will not cause soft tissue problems, but the condition that caused the enlarged heart - especially if it were lupus - could cause both problems.

Its possible that it can cause this, your heart is responsible for pumping your blood. When its enlarged it runs the risk of doing damage to your whole body, including tissue and organs. If you are having issues with soft tissue you should seek medical advice immediatly, especially with having an enlarged heart.

yes an Cray can show the soft tissue as well as bone but more tests would be needed to determine the cause of the enlargement and if treatment is needed
