Can a person survive on beans and rice?

It has protein and vitamins.

While beans and rice does have proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, and fiber it is not nutritionally balanced. A person could eat this diet for a week or two, but after that your body would become depleted of nutrients not in these foods.

You can survive on it but you will not be as healthy as you would be if you were eating a balanced diet. Rice and beans does contain protein and vitamins but it does not contain every single vitamin that you need to assure your health. You would need more foods in your diet besides that.
