Its possible to use bluetooth in a home theater for A/V, but not recommended due to its short range, and low data transfer rate, as compared to other wireless standards, hence its recommended use for remote access functions. Stick to hard wiring for now.

Yes a home theater can have Bluetooth because it may have the capability to dial a phone with a cell or VOIP connection,it could be how other input devices connect.
