Wireless is very big right now and for good reason. They are easy to install and easy to move around, so yes.

Most people prefer wireless as there is less clutter when installing a surround sound system. There are also no wires to accept/create interference, but that also means the signal is not directly from the audio source so some degradation is possible.

Yes eventually everything will become wireless even speakers can do so to. Also wiring on a surround sound system looks very unatractive. It really disrupts the look of a house when you have wiring going along side the walls. So with all that said yes wireless surround sound speakers will probably be the next big thing

they are if u like music and your not living with your nan im not sure how they will work probably by bluetooth or sum infrared device i myself wont rush out to buy them but im sure music and surround sond lovers will i dont think they will be the next big thing

I predict so, yes! Because they give the same performance as wired surround sound speakers, but without the messy wires. They look neater!
