Are werewolves real or only in stories?

Werewolves are mythical creatures that are half human, half wolf. They are stories that pass through time and generation. As today, they are only found in books and movies.

The reason they sound so real is because they were originally written by people who were drunk or out of their minds or scared. They would see a normal wolf but fear and/or intoxication lead them to believe that they had seen werewolves when in all reality all they saw was a normal wolf.
