TV aerials only pick up analog signals and do not work on digital TVs anymore. You don't see anywhere that you can place rabbit ears on LCDs and Plamas today. There are some rural dwellers that have not had full digital conversions and could still be using analog signals on their television, but even they tend to use satellite now.
