Are there still computer shops?

I don't want to get a computer from a big corporation.

Yes, there are. If you browse through google for computer shops you should be able to find some local ones. I live in a small town that has 2 of them.

Yes there are still tons of computer shops around you just have to drive around to find them. Mostly they are small shops but they carry the big name brands too.
