Are there other injuries that can occur after a cervical herniation?

Yes there may be compression of the nerves that affect the arm, severe headache, muscular spasm of upper back, shoulders and neck. Paralysis, trmors and weakness in upper extremities can also occur. Loss of coordination is a possiblity with intentional movements of the arms and hands. Persistent numbness and tingling may also occur

This injury can lead to other issues, overstress of muscles, falls due to imbalance or there can be instances of degeneration, but that is usually linked to other syndromes.
