Use thicker concrete than normal. also have well built form work. Use multiple breaks in the sidewalk, so that the concrete stops at intervals up the slope.

When you are pouring concrete on a slope it is important to follow the mixing instructions carefully. You do not want to add too much wateror it will be more difficult. It is also a little easier to start at the top of the hill and work down.

Sometimes you can buy additives to put in the cement to make it dry faster. also you can use less water in the mixture.

Yes, when you are mixing the concrete mix it where it is stiff, don't mix it with a lot of water just enough to where its all mix good, you will be able to work with it, you will have to drag it with a hoe where you need it.
