Are there any diseases inherent in St Bernard dogs?

Not really any problems with this breed. Some pure breeds can have problems but St. Bernards are good healthy dogs and make great pets.

Saint Bernards, like other breeds, have breed-specific problems which reputable breeders try to breed out of their line. And extreme growth spurts.

every breed has those nothing that can be done about it the sad thing is most of them are there because the purebreds are inbred and when people do that the puppies are born with the worst parts of the mother and the father if you get one make sure the parents are'nt blood related you will have better luck.
