Are there any contradictions in the Quran?

I know that many people believe in the Quran and trust it as the word of God, but I have heard that there are many contradictions in there.

Yes, there are. Similar to the Holy Bible, the Quran contains many contradictions. It is up to the reader to grasp the concepts and make their own decision.

The verses on drinking initially started as "don't come to mosque drunk", then "drink in moderation", then "do not drink at all". Initial "be peaceful with other followers of the book (Jews, Christians)" was later abrogated with "kill all the Jews" and "kill or convert Christians".

Why ask someone and hear them tell lies when you can just go ahead and read the Quran and see the contradictions for yourself.  add a comment
