Are the Weimar flutes of a good quality?

They are not of a great quality. I would get a more recognized student brand, such as Selmer or Yamaha. They are inexpensive and work great.

There are many off brand instruments such as Weimar that I wouldn't suggest. I would go with a more reliable brand such as Yamaha, Pearl or Briolette of similar price.

My grandma, my in-laws (music connoisseur) prevented me from buying "modern" brands, but after buying a Weimar flute, I can honestly say, it is unbelievable AMAZING! What a great sound... Go for it!
