Are Spectacled Bears endangered?

Spectacled Bears are not endangered, per say, but their species status is 'Threatened', meaning they are close to being endangered. They live in South America, and are named Spectacled by the white ring marks around their eyes, making it look like they have glasses.

As far as i know spectacled bears are not endangered but you can look up endangered species on the web and it will tell you which species are endangered. Personally I would not want to mess with any bear endangered or not as they can be rather dangerous as they are a wild animal.
