Menards stores are only in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, North & South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, Wyoming, Ohio, and Montana. Unfortunately the rest of the country doesn't have them!
Mernards home improvement stores are not regional. There are some great regional home improvement stores. Home Depot and Lowes are both regional stores. Both have great selections and reasonable prices. I prefer Home Depot because their customer service people seem to be more knowledgeable about the different products. Prices are comparable in both stores.
They're located throughout the midwest. However, you won't find them on either coast or down south. The majority of their stores are in Illinois, but they have stores as far away as Kansas. Try looking for a Lowe's or Home Depot where you live, as they carry many of the same products.
