If you have coin that you believe is rare or worth some money, I recommend having it looked at by a collector. To answer your question though, there have never been any officially minted "gold" dimes from the United States Mint. If you have a gold dime it may have been gold plated by someone after manufacturing it.

United States minted gold dimes do not exist unless they are a mint error, in which case it would be exceedingly rare and worth a lot of money. U. S. dimes were minted out of silver until 1965, and now are made from a cupro-nickel alloy. As with all collectable coins, actual value also depends upon condition.
