Are Chilton's auto repair manuals really helpful?

Chilton's manuals are a great help. I've used it to do some minor fixes and repairing on my car. Manuals provide clear step by step procedure to make just about any repair on your car. Good thing is that manuals are available on almost every topic related to car reparing.

You do need to have a good mechanical understanding for the books to be worthwhile. They include a great deal of information, but are not for those with no knowledge.

These books have every part of your car and pictures of various parts. They are very helpful for people who like to work on their own cars.

I have used the auto repair books many times. When growing up my Uncle taught all of us girls to use them. Helpful tips in many different ways and very easy to read and understand. Helpful pictures, step by step answers to what need to be done.
