Is it possible to get a free Chilton auto repair manual?

As far as I understand, Chilton Repair Manuals are not from the company. If you do not feel up to buying one then you must go to your local library and take one out for reading.

While Chilton books themselves are not free you can find most copies at your local library. Spending a little time there, you can either take notes on a scratch pad or you can spend a few cents to have xerox copies made for you to take home. Having copies made is better so you can have the pictures with you.

The only way you can get the Chilton Repair Manual for free is if you go to the library and borrow it or you find it cheap at a sale.

You cannot get one for free to keep but a lot of libraries do have these books. You should look at you local one to see if they have them.
