Are cheat codes the same for each game, regardless of which console you use?

The majority of multiplatform games do have the same cheat code layout, but the buttons on each console are different, so no. They are not the same.

No you will need to search for different codes for different versions of games, sometimes they can be same ,but not always.

If you look on the internet you can find cheats for most games. I think they all have cheats you will just have to do some digging to find a lot of games cheats.

Well in some cases this is true but from the most part they are different. This is mainly due to the different controllers and the systems themselves.
