This depends quite heavily on the toy. When it comes to price, sometimes economic reasons are the best reasons to go with the cheapos. But, if quality is sought, the more expensive toys might fit your needs. Higher prices usually means higher quality, but this may not be the case.

If they are the same brand and model, go for the cheaper one. Some sellers buy more quantity and get a price break, so they can sell the same item for less than their competitors. If they are different brands or models, one might very well be better. You tend to get what you pay for.
