The Pennsylvania Department of Labor does not have a maximum number of hours one can work. Rather, it talks about minimum wage and that overtime must be paid for time worked over 40 hours in a work week. In this regard it is similar to the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.

Labor laws provides for breaks in the course of a specific number of hours each day. There is no "legal amount of working hours. "
