Umbilical hernia or a protrusion near the belly button, can appear later in life because this area may be a weaker part in the abdominal wall. All hernias should be repaired generally.

An abnormal lump anywhere in the abdomen should be checked by a doctor. It may be the beginning of an abdominal hernia. If there is pain at the lump or any other symptoms, these are pretty sure signs of a hernia and medical attention is needed. A hernia doesn't go away by itself.

Maybe you need to see a gastro doctor? It could be intestines, not necessarily gynecological. I would see both a gastro and a gyn to cover both bases.

A lump near your belly button may be a sign that you have a hernia. You should have this checked by a doctor to find out for sure and to determine whether any treatment is needed or not. If it is small it most likely will not require any treatment but it is best to have it checked out.

It could be a small hernia if you go into the doctor they can check it right in the office and tell you right away what it is.

This is probably a small hernia. You should consult with a doctor because this lump could be something serious or it could be something as small as bloating.

Without a phisical exam or more information, for example if it smooth, its color and if this changed, etc, so I can´t assure anything. Some posibilities are a alergic reaction, pample, hernia, wart, hemangioma. If there are hernia antecedent in your family, or if it don´t dissapear I suggest to visit your doctor.

The lump found near the belly button may be umbilical hernia. It may be caused due to the tear of the muscle in the umbilical area. And the lump which is seen is due to the projection of the small intestine. It can be treated.
