Many different things could cause headaches in a small child. The heat of the summer, not eating the right foods or drinking the right drinks, sinus infections and even teeth problems. If they continue I would take her to the doctor to have her checked just in case you are missing something.

Common causes of headache are dehydration and eye strain. If your child has recurring headaches, keep a log of their frequency, duration and severity, the time of day that they occur, and any circumstances like recurring loud noises, etc. If the headaches persist for more than a few days, or are accompanied by fever or other symptoms, call your doctor.

My oldest daughter often gets headaches after wearing a ponytail in her hair. Other reasons may be that your child is getting sick, or may already have a sinus infection.

Watching the televisions at night, watching television much closer, playing video games for a long time and less oil supply for the hair are some of reasons for headaches.
