What happens when a civil lawsuit is against you and it is court ordered to have your name removed?

If the court has directed the filing party to remove your name from the action, your name will then be removed. At that time you are no longer involved in the suit.

When a Court Orders that your name be removed from a suit it can mean a few things. The most common scenario is that the court finds that you are not an appropriate party to the case and therefore can dismiss you from proceedings. If this you no longer are required to participate in the action.
