The primary use of rubbing alcohol is disinfecting. Some people use rubbing alcohol on their faces in an effort to prevent and/or clear up acne. Rubbing alcohol can also be used to sanitize metal objects, such as needles or dental instruments. Rubbing alcohol is also used to clean skin in preparation for injection.

Rubbing alcohol can be used for a variety of common household and health needs. Perhaps the most common use is to clean wounds and scrapes. However, it can also be used to relieve the itchiness of mosquito bites. Rubbing alcohol can remove both sticky substances and strong odors from your hands.

It's not only good for cleaning and disinfecting your cuts but, you can use it to clean with, too. It dries quickly. It can be used for wiping anything to get rid of cold germs. Also it is great for cds and dvds that skip. Just put some on a cotton ball or cotton swab and clean away.
