The side panels are easily accessed by first removing the screws found under the arm rest and behind the door lever. Once these are gone if you don't have a clip bar simply pull the panels from the sides with your fingers to release the backing clips and life up.

What side panels are you talking about? (inside or outside). the inside is removing all the srcews and taking the panels out. outside is cut it off with a cutter.

Remove the mirror panel and pull the handle. Remove the door panel and wires which are connected to the connectors. Press the tabs of connector to release the wires. Remove the plastic cover sheeting from power window controls. Now pull the panels with pliers or fingers depending on the size.
