Typically there are screws on the bottom and both sides of the panel. Sometimes they have little covers on them and are not easy to spot. Remove the screws and then slide the panel upwards and out at the same time.

If you can believe it, door panels on Pontiac Grand Am models snap on and off. You may want to get a small wedge in order to slowly pry the snaps off, because the plasic gets brittle after a while. Be very careful when working with older cars, you don't want to break the plastic pieces.

Remove the screws holding on the arm rest and look for any screws holding on any door pockets/speaker screens. Use a medium screwdriver to pry the lower corner of the panel away from the door metal. Once a few push pins come out, pull the all bottom and side pins. Push straight up to remove the top hooks.

Well to remove most door panels start by removing the screw holding on things like the armrest and any switches. Then remove the actual panels by prying the edges up to release the clips. This can be done wit ha screwdriver or a special panel removal tool.

You will have to remove the arm rest ( if applicable ) and purchse a door panel tool, they remove the little buttons without breaking them. That should allow you access to the inside of your door.

There should be a screw by the door handle and then the screws that run on the bottom would have to come out. There may also be clips that are there as well and you will have to slide the panel to get them out but then you just slide the panel around the handle and it is off.

Open the door and look at the bottom of all the surfaces. You'll find at least one hole in which is a screw. Remove all the screws you can find and then tug at the door panel. It's on friction fasteners and should pop off. Don't rip it off because it might be connected by the window or lock switches.

First, have a look around the edges of the panel. You'll see plastic inserts that are hiding the screws. Take a flat edge and pop these plastic covers out of place. Next, unscrew allow the screws. There should be 8 of them. Remove the door handle. It should have two screws. Then pop the whole panel off.

There should be some screws in the corner of your door panel. They may be plastic pop out rivets or they may be metal screws. You need to remove these.
