How do I remove doors from a side by side refrigerator?

All the doors on a refrigerator or freezer are fixed on with hinges all you need to do is take the hinges off but you must make sure you have the proper tools.

First, look on very top of the refrigerator for plastic caps covering screws on each door. Remove these caps exposing the screws holding the door; unscrew them, then remove the hardware connectors. Next pull up on the door to disconnect it from the lower bracket connector at the bottom of the door.

Actually your refrigerator comes with a tool to remove them. If you look at the door, there is a pin at the top and one at the bottom depending on your model there may be more. Pull the pin up and the door down.

The door attachments are on the top of the unit. There is a plastic covering and two to three screws to remove on the top. Each side has screws on the top and the bottom.
