How do you remove the front panel from a dryer?

I need to remove the front panel from my dryer.

The dryer's front panel may be removed by unscrewing the rear panel. Once off you should see the screws to remove the rest of the panels.

Use a small screw driver and gently pull out a corner, you will see the clips. Use the screw driver to gently unhook it. Careful as clips may be plastic.

open the door and remove the two screws just inside the opening. The top of the dryer should come off allowing access to the screws holding the front panel on.

If you are trying to remove the front panel from your dryer first you have to take off the back panel to get it loose. Usually you can just use a simple tool like a screwdriver to do this and get it done pretty quickly and in a timely manner.

Remove the lint screen and screws. Insert a putty knife in between the top and the front panels right where one of the clip is. Do the same on other side also. This will release the clip. Now you can lift the top panel about 30 - 45 degree angle.
