There are small carts available for partially paralyzed dogs. The dog is put into a harness connected to wheels, and it allows the dog to get around by itself. Ask your vet for further info.

A great way to help your dog get around is with a doggie wheelchair. The hindquarters are strapped into a device that resembles training wheels. Also make sure your dog gets a once-over from a vet to rule out any other problems and keep obstacles to a minimum.

You can buy a wheelchair apparatus that is made for dogs. These are made considering the size of the dog. There are even plans that you can buy to build one, if you are handy. While this will help your pet move around, they will require more care. The apparatus seems to be accepted by dogs without much problem.

You can buy a doggy wheelchair so your Jack Russell can still exercise and run around but doesn't have to drag his back legs around.
