It really depends on the bed itself. You should check to see if the bed is strong and stable. Another thing you can check, is safety. Make sure screws and brackets are secure. You have to check to see if the bars are spaced apart adequately. Beddings should be checked for the material it is made of.

I wouldn't trust a used baby crib. Mainly because you never know if it is missing any bolts or screws. If it an older crib there may be toxins in the paint. If you are going to use a used baby crib I would check to make sure there are no recalls on it. Also make sure nothing is broken.

I myself would not trust one. The rails can be loose.The slats can be loose. Your baby could get their body part caught in there. Also alot of the old cribs had lead in them. Better off to save and buy a new one

I would trust a used baby crib. I actually am currently using on at the moment. However, I would make sure the crib is in good sturdy condition.
