Sounds more like low blood sugar; Hypoglycemia. But its always good to ask a doctor about it/ ask for a blood test.

If you are talking about whether or not they will come back with a little sugar after passing out, they need to be somewhat conscious to consume the sugar, but, yes, usually they will come back after there is more sugar for the excess insulin to metabolize. Too much insulin causes the dizziness.

The whole point of being a diabetic is to avoid sugar - do not give someone who has passed out a substance they are supposed to avoid. Instead try something like smelling salts or spritzing her with water. For more information it is really best for her to talk to a doctor.

It does sound like her problems have something to do with the fact that she suffers from low blood sugar, and that is diabetes in it's essence. If she experiences this often, she needs to try to find a specialist and see what medications or precautions she should be taking.
