With a Range Rover classic, how often should I perform an IAC cleaning?

Usually only when your car starts to act strangely while idling, if it won't idle then the part probably needs to be replaced.

Typically the IAC doesn't need to be cleaned too often. AS long as you keep a goo tune up and follow proper maintenance schedules. Unless the engine idle starts to act up it shouldn't need cleaned more than once every 100,000 miles probably. It doesn't hurt to check every once and awhile for build up though.
