Will there be an Animal Crossing 2?

Animal Crossing 2 was going to be released on Nintendo Gamecube, but was cancelled. There already is 2 seaquals though, Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk. In 2011 or 2012, there may be an Animal Crossing: 3DS for the new Nintendo System coming out. (Called a 3DS)

So far all of the Animal Crossing games have been "remakes" of the original with new ideas and concepts added. I doubt that there will ever be an Animal Crossing 2, but I would hope that they will make one someday.

Although there were plans to develop an Animal Crossing 2 video game for Nintendo Wii, the game's development has been postponed. There is currently no information on why the game was cancelled r if there are any plans for development down the road.

There has already been one released for the Nintendo Wii, which has new features such as a city your character can explore. There are a total of three Animal Crossing games so far, four if you count Doubutsu no Mori, the original N64 version the Gamecube one updated.

There have been two sequels to Animal Crossing so far, but no game called Animal Crossing 2. It is not likely that there will be a game properly known as Animal Crossing 2.

I do not think there will be a Animal Crossing 2 because Animal Crossing was a great hit and if they made A Animal Crossing 2 it could ruin the gameplay. Like the movie Finding Nemo if they made A Finding Nemo 2 it could ruin the entire experiance.

If you are talking about on the game cube then yes. There has already been a sequel on the DS,and Wii.Other wise nothing has been announced wait and see.

Actually there was an Animal Crossing 2 and it was for GameCube but the release got canceled and if there was gonna be another AC=animal crossing it would prob be in 2011 that is if they are staying on there every 3 years a new AC program but again no-one-can-be-sure-except-for-the-people-at-Nintendo.

Animal Crossing has 2 sequals to it: Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Animal Crossing: City Folk. They probably won't have an "Animal Crossing 2", but they will probably add another Animal Crossing game to the series. There wil most likely be another Animal Crossing out in 2011!
