A playstation one cannot play through a monitor. In order to use a playstation one you would need a compatible TV and the appropriate cables. In order to play a Playstation one using a computer you would require a computer with a TV tuner card it could be connected to.

I think the only way would be to get a VGA box converter since the playstation one has no HDMI outputs.

I wouldn't think it would unless you have an adapter or the monitor has the correct video inputs. Plus you will have no sound that way.

It will as long as the monitor has the correct video inputs. You will also need to run the audio through another source to hear the game.

Yes it will, but you will need a certain cable that goes from the gaming device to the actual monitor. I VGA adapter should work.
