Will laminate flooring scratch?

Yes, it will scratch like most any other wood product. The better quality laminates will resist scratches better than some of the cheaper ones. The ones that are made from layers of solid wood do not show scratches near as bad as the ones made with wood over filler material.

Yes, laminate flooring can scratch as much as solid hardwood flooring. To prevent scratching, do not walk on laminate floors using shoes, you should only use your bare feet. Also, do not jump, run, or do any other activity that may scratch the floor. Be very careful and enjoy your new floor.

I have three children and a dog and have never had a problem with my laminate flooring scratching. I use a wet mop or swiffer to clean.

Yes, especially if you move your stove, frig or any other heavy moving furniture. Once you decide where you want to set the item, leave it there.
