Cider vinegar is used as a rinse. Wash out the shampoo and rinse hair in a dilution of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water. Cider vinegar helps to rid the hair of buildup caused by hair products, such as hairspray, gel, or mousse. It also gives hair a shine.

This product is good for treating dandruff. Rub it into your scalp and let it stay for a few minutes. Then, rinse the vinegar out of your hair.
