Why won't the LCD monitor come on even though the power light is flasing?

Try unplugging the power cord from the back of the monitor, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn the monitor on. Sometimes monitors need a "hard reset". Also, make sure that your monitor cable is screwed in tight on both ends and that the cable is not bad.

LCD monitor won't come on when it is in the standby/ power saving mode otherwise check the display cable is plugged in.
