These shots can sometimes be given to women who are experiencing the menopause. They can be used to treat low sex drive or slight depression.

Because your body is no producing it by itself. It can be because of an injury or a disease. In any case, you need testosterone to avoid hair loss, muscle reduction, weakened bones, and other symptons. Make sure your LH levels are within range if you are planning to have a child, though.

A person may need testoterone shots if their body is not producing enough testosterone on its own, like if a male is missing a testicle.

It is possible that the body is not producing enough natural testosterone to maintain normal levels. For the male testosterone is an extremely important hormone and any imbalance could cause complications.

Women who are experiencing a lowered libido may benefit from some additional testosterone. Also, combined with progesterone, additional testosterone may be beneficial for menopausal and post-menopausal women (depending on individual symptoms).
