Pregnant cats have a ton of hormones surging through their bodies all the time, so that can cause them to be more aggressive than normal. Additionally, when cats are pregnant they feel the need to be more protective of their coming kittens, so that can cause aggression to come out.

Pregnant cats become aggressive because they are trying to protect their yet to be born young. By acting aggressive the cat will scare away most predators and would be attackers. It all comes down to the fact that mothers protect their young at all costs. This trait is engrained in all mothers to ensure the survival of their young.

Poor Puss is feeling the effects of hormones, discomfort, everything you would feel if you were pregnant. If she is overly and unnaturally aggressive pls see your vet, she may be having a problem.

Your pregnant cat is aggressive for very natural reasons. Her hormones change her behavior a little bit. She might be uncomfortable, as well. To make your cat comfortable, give her some space. If she is being aggressive to other cats, separate them for a while. She will become much happier!
