Cats yowl as a form of communication to people and to other animals. Female cats who are in heat may yowl to find a mate. Sometimes cats are in pain or hungry and would yowl. Yowling may also be a form of singing. Make sure the cat has plenty of attention and love to avoid a yowling cat.

Oftentimes a yowling cat is a female in heat. If your female is in heat and you don't want kittens get her spayed and she will stop. If the cat is a male it could be looking for a mate.

Your cat also may be yowling for attention or like yall said she may be in heat and calling for there mate
