Why is Access 2007 showing me an empty subform?

It is possible that your ContactIDs in both tables are Autonumber fields if this is so then that makes it difficult to use subforms, the main Table should be an Autonumber and the Sub table should be a Number type Integer, but without seeing the database I am only guessing.

Go to the main form in the edit mode with a right mouse click. Check if there is something in the fields Link Child Fields and Link Master Fields. If these fields are empty, you have to link the primary key field from the main form with the normally equal named foreign key field from the subform.

It's possible that you've got a corrupted File in your Access 2007 which is causing your subforms to appear empty, either that or you've got an out of date driver.
