This could be due to air leaks around the carb mount or connection to the air filter causing weak mixture, or the carb mixture setting may need adjusting.
Idle speed can be set slightly higher or lower
depending on your personal preference. Setting the idle too low can reduce the
engine oil pressure which is not good. IT may cause added strain
on engine parts.
