A pregnant cat may spray for several reasons. The most likely reason is stress. If you have multiple cats it could be a overcrowding at the litter box. If your cat is doing it around the house you may want to watch closely and check for signs of Feline Cystitis.

The cat may be marking her territory to ward of other cats that she perceives as a threat to her pregnancy or litter. This may be conscious or simply instinctual. When she has her litter, the spraying problems should decrease or go away entirely. If it does not, consult a veterinarian.

When cats are pregnant and are nearing the end of term, the kittens push on the bladder a lot, causing the female to be uncomfortable. This can lead to the pregnant cat spraying. She may also be marking her territory so other cats know the space is "hers. "
