A white spot on your tonsils is most likely a sign of infection. White spots like this are usually made up of pus. This could be any number of different sorts of infection, from stept throat to tonsilitis. In any event, it is unlikely to heal on its own and you should see a doctor as soon as possible.

I would definitely go get some antibiotics. You may either have strep throat or thrush. Thrush is a yeast infection in your throat.

The white spot on your tonsils could possibly be the strep virus, if you are experiencing a sore throat I would contact your doctor.

It sounds like you may have some sort of infection in the throat, it could be nothing but I would see a doctor to get the right diagnosis and treatment.
