The blisters are most likely from friction between your hand and something else. If you do a lot of manual labor (like digging, hammering, etc) this can cause blisters. Of if there is a lot of rubbing (like scrubbing pots) this can cause blisters, too.

There are a number of reasons why you get blisters. If you do a lot of outside work, raking, shoveling, etc., you could get blisters. Some people get blisters if they write a lot. If you do a lot of repetitive work with your hands daily, it may cause blisters.

If they are on the palms of your hands and itch until they are broken, it is likely contact dermatitis: you are allergic to something your hands are touching.

Blisters are caused by trauma to the skin, This can be from friction or from burns. A blister will form over a area to help protect the tissue from further damage.

You don't say whether it's the front or back of hand. Either side, it could be contact dermatitis or maybe cleaning chemicals are too harsh for your hands.

Blisters are caused by a collection of fluid under the skin's surface. These are usually caused by sunburn, irritation(friction), or possibly infection. Most usually dry up on their own as a part of the healing process. The main concern to keep it from becoming infected.

Blisters are usually caused when something is rubbing against your skin over and over. If you work somewhere that you are lifting things over and over that could be the cause of them. If this doesn't seem to be the case, you might be getting them from some other irritant. You might want to make a doctors appointment.

Blisters are caused by rubbing an area that is not used to being rubbed; if you repeat the process, you will get a callous, and if not, it will heal.
