Why do cigars give me nausea?

Cigars are made of tobacco and therefore it contains Nicotine and it is a kind of poisonous substance.On the other hand the smell might cause nausea.

I have the same reaction, but I get a little nauseated just being around cigar smoke... its probably the overpowering smell. In really small doses, I sometimes like the smell, but if a cigar smoker ever gets too close, I usually like to get far away.
