Sporadic nausea without vomiting can be caused by a number of physical conditions surrounding gastric emptying, the small and large intestines, nutritional and hydration status, medications, diabetes, and gallbladder disease to name just a few. A pediatrician or gastric specialist should be able to find a physical or metabolic cause. If not, then you must consider emotional or situational reasons.
