sounds to me like the motor is no longer working. The humming may be the "agitator" still trying to move. That is kind of a bad situation. The motor can get hot and actually cause a fire. So you may want to get it checked by a professional.

The reason that your washer is not spinning is most likely related to the drum belt. If the belt is broken then the drum will not turn. If the belt is caught or held on internally the engine will struggle but will not turn. You should have this repaired immediately.

It sounds as though it might have overloaded. Have you tried unplugging it and letting it sit unplugged for 15 minutes and then starting it again? Do you get any error messages? Another thing to check is if the trap is clogged. Go to the manufacturer's website and look up directions on how to unclog the trap.

Most likely there is a problem with the motor. The machine will need to be evaluated by a service repair company that specializes in washing machines.

The moter has probably siezed or is is obstructed. Either way, do not continue trying to use it. Doing so will cause the motor get really hot and dangerous

The fact that it hums means their is electricity to it, so the most likely problem is that something has jammed the barrel. Try turning it slowly by hand. If it doesn't turn look for something wedged around the edge. Be careful.
