Who were the WWI soldiers?

I am doing a research paper, and need to know as much as possible.

WWI was fought primarily by Great Britain, Austria, Hungary and Germany. America entered the war after it was in full swing but committed over 1 million soldiers to france and planned to have over 3 million troops in france by the following year (1918). 43 millions soldiers were deployed worldwide.

There were German, American, British, French, Canadian, Japan, Montenegro, Portugal, Italian soldiers, Romanian Soldiers, even troops from India. Not to mention Russian soldiers, soldiers from Belgium and even The Ottoman Empire and the Kingdom of Greece threw their hands into this conflict. Another Central Power was the Austria-Hungary armies!

There were two main sides: Allies - Britain, France, USA and later Italy, and the Central Powers - Austria-Hungary, German Empire, Italy (later changed sides) and Ottoman Empire.
